Clear Creek faculty and students share music from their living rooms along with recordings made before the pandemic as uplifting selections and comforting “soul music” bring the Festival to a close.   Repertoire ranges from Bach-Busoni through the Romantics to Iberia and back to the U.S.with works of Samuel Barber, Richard Rogers, and the humor of Irving Fine.   Two special features are the performance of Petr Eben’s “Elegia” (for the victims of the Holocaust) planned for last summer and finally performed by Tsun Kwok and David Yeomans, each from the isolation of their respective living rooms, and the world premiere, again performed at a distance, of Blaise Ferrandino’s “Frames of Reference” for piano, flute, and cello.  The Clear Creek Festival/Community Virtual Choir opens and closes this special concert.
